About Us

Dr. Ratesh Khillan founded Brooklyn Medical Housing in 2015. He is a board-certified Hematology-Oncologist and Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center & Mount Sinai Hospital. He is affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital, Methodist, SUNY Downstate, Interfaith, and Kings Brook Jewish Hospital. Dr. Khillan being an IMG, knows the struggles and hurdles faced by medical students and graduates while rotating in hospitals and clinics regarding finding safe and affordable housing. The reason behind this company is to help students by providing wholly furnished, clean, safe, reasonable accommodation with all utilities and supplies so that they only move in with their books and clothes. His goal is to help students during their journey of becoming a physician by providing a homely environment that will allow them to give their 100% while rotating and studying for the shelf and USMLE exams.
